CRCH Research

The CRCH has ongoing research projects and various grants that include a research component.  The research implemented by the CRCH is intended to better understand the health of West Virginians and  improve health outcomes within communities and throughout the state.  For more information about the CRCH research, click on the research faculty below:

In addition, WVSOM's Office of Affliated and Sponsored Programs supports and assists WVSOM faculty, students and staff with preparation and management of research and grant-funded projects. For more information about research, training, and the research projects of WVSOM's faculty, students, and staff, go to:  West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine - Office of Affiliated and Sponsored Programs http://www.wvsom.edu/Research/faculty-research-oasp

The CRCH also works closely with members of the West Virginia Clinical & Translational Science Institue (WVCTSI) to increase research opportunities throughout West Virginia.  The resources required to address the health challenges facing West Virginians are found at the institutions that have formed the primary partnership for the WVCTSI.  Those institutions include: West Virginia University; WVU's Health Science Center; WVU Healthcare; West Virginia United Health System; the Charleston Area Medical Center; and the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, which have come together to build the necessary infrastructure to transform the capacity to do high quality clinical and translational research.
